Who We Are
We’re The AC Project, a Toronto-based live band with roots that stretch from the Asia to Europe, to right here in Canada.
Our story started long before forming this group. Each of us had spent decades performing professionally and internationally in various hotels, luxury cruise liners, TV studios, recording labels and alongside a stellar roster of asian artists before life brought us all to Toronto. We all crossed paths through mutual connections and quickly realized we clicked — not just musically, but in the values we shared: respect for the craft, a commitment to quality, and a drive to bring those standards to every performance. That work ethic and bond became the foundation of The AC Project.
Musically, we’re versatile from jazz and soul to rock, pop, and today’s top 40 hits. But we’ll always have a soft spot for the golden era of feel-good music: Think 90s R&B, early 2000s crowd favorites, and timeless throwbacks. Thanks to our international backgrounds, we’ve also picked up a few well-loved foreign favorites along the way: from select Chinese ballads and K-pop hits to Latin grooves, OPM classics and more. Whether your guests are 18 or 80, we have something that will definitely make them sing, sway, and dance.
At the end of the day, we’re not just a band. We’re here as your entertainment partner, to help create the kind of memories you and your people talk about long after your night is over. Because the food, décor, and speeches may fade, but the magical moments live music creates will always be remembered.
